Suvita is an impact-driven nonprofit that works closely with the Indian government to help parents complete their children’s immunization schedules. Their efforts ultimately prevent disease, save lives, and improve social and economic productivity.
Tasked with increasing childhood immunization rates across two major Indian states, Maharashtra and Bihar, Suvita faced significant challenges when scaling their operations to coordinate parents, local stakeholders, and complex fieldwork logistics.
They quickly found that basic tools and systems that once worked well became insufficient for ingesting vast amounts of data. Suvita required more robust integrations that didn’t come with data flow restrictions to power their automated SMS workflow.
To overcome these obstacles, Suvita turned to webhooks—a powerful yet frequently underutilized data transfer method—and built custom field plug-ins to bridge the gaps.
While this infrastructure successfully eliminated data bottlenecks and enabled Suvita to send over 91 million life-saving SMS reminders to caregivers, it also surfaced a broader lesson: the technical hurdles they faced do not have to be the status quo for the social sector.
Driven by a desire to ensure other organizations don’t have to reinvent the wheel, Suvita is sharing their technical breakthroughs and providing open-source repositories. Join us to learn how your nonprofit team can leverage these resources to drastically shorten your program implementation timelines and scale your impact cost-effectively.
As your nonprofit scales, finding the right resources to do so efficiently and cost-effectively can feel like finding a needle in a haystack.
Join us to learn how Suvita scaled their program to bypass common data collection and data transfer bottlenecks. This webinar is ideal for M&E professionals, program managers, and technical leads in the social sector who want to optimize their data flows without spending valuable time and resources reinventing the wheel.
