Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE)
The Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE) is an organization leading a change in tourism that makes a positive impact. Their innovative travel experiences let visitors to remote parts of the world experience development-focused expeditions while volunteering to provide solar energy, digital education, and support for sustainable livelihoods. Since their founding, GHE has electrified 205+ villages and offset 120,000 tons of carbon.
Our presenter, Vishaljeet Singh, is a senior project manager at GHE and heads the onground operations, data management, monitoring systems and liaising with stakeholders for the rural impact projects in India. He is also the creative head and has directed and captured most of the impact videos of GHE. Vishal has also been invited as a speaker to several forums including the Global Social Business Summit, COP26 at Glasgow and at several events in India on showcasing the work of rural development.
