SurveyCTO is a low-code platform that’s powerful enough for complex, flexible data collection forms. That means that anyone—even those with no coding background—can build sophisticated surveys that gather rich data to provide the insights you need to inform policy, evaluate programs, and make a difference.

While anyone can use SurveyCTO, getting started with a new platform always has its challenges. Team SurveyCTO is here to get new users off to a strong start, and to help achieve this goal, we’re introducing a new type of webinar: Office Hours

These webinars will provide a high-level demonstration of key skills you need to be successful at building data collection instruments with SurveyCTO, and let you ask questions directly with experts from our Customer Success team!

In this Office Hours webinar, you’ll learn about two critical techniques for quality surveys: Constraints and relevance (also known as skip logic).

Constraints let you set conditions that must be met before someone can proceed with a survey. For example, if you want to know the year that a particular demographic of survey respondents was born in, you could use constraints to allow only answers between certain years, ensuring that no one provides incorrect data in error.

Relevance is survey logic that ensures respondents only receive questions  that are relevant to them. Let’s say you want to collect data on the maternal healthcare mothers in a particular region have received. To ensure data accuracy, you could use relevance to make sure questions about experiences with maternal healthcare only appear if respondents confirm they have been, or are, pregnant.

SurveyCTO experts Mofya Phiri and Syed Gillani will lead this webinar, demonstrating these functionalities and then taking your questions! Mofya is a long-time member of our success team, and has 8+ years of experience in ICT4D in Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia. Syed joined Team SurveyCTO last year. He is driven by his passion for technology and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University, New York.

Don’t miss this chance to get a firsthand lesson on these game-changing techniques from these SurveyCTO and data collection experts.
