How it works for referrers

Email marketing@surveycto.com introducing us to your referral.

Step 2: Wait for them to upgrade
Step 3: Get your discount
Once your referral activates a paid subscription, we’ll email a 10% discount code for you to apply to your next payment.
Note: You must be an account admin or billing contact to receive this email. If you don’t see the email, please reach out to your account’s admin or billing contact.

We will verify your account and email you your 10% discount code.
Note: You must upgrade within 30 days of starting your free trial to receive the discount.

Where can I find the full Referral Program terms?

Who is eligible to be a Referrer?
To be a Referrer in the SurveyCTO Referral Program, a user must currently be on a Community, Basic, Pro, or Advanced SurveyCTO plan.
Users on Enterprise or custom plans, as well as members of the SurveyCTO Partner Program, are not eligible for this specific program.
We will verify Referrer eligibility at the beginning of this process. If the Referrer is not eligible, we will let them know.
Who is eligible to be a Referral?
Referrals must be brand-new SurveyCTO users (i.e. must not be an existing SurveyCTO user) and must not have previously gotten a discount from this program.
We will verify Referral eligibility once the introduction has been made. If the Referral is not eligible, we will let them know.
Can I refer multiple people?
Yes! You can refer as many new users as you’d like.
However, you can only hold a maximum of three (3) active, unused discount codes in your inventory at any given time.
Once you apply one of your codes in a transaction, a slot opens up for you to earn another one.
Can I stack discount codes?
You can apply your 10% referral discount on top of our annual savings rate.
However, you cannot stack multiple referral codes together on a single transaction. In other words, only one referral code can be applied per checkout.
Why didn't I receive my discount code?
For Referrers: In order to receive a discount code, your Referral must have activated a paid subscription. Once we validate that transaction, we will email you a discount code. If you did not receive this email, you likely are not an account admin or billing contact. Please reach out to them to receive the discount code.
For Referrals: In order to receive a discount code, you must email marketing@surveycto.com with your server name. Once we validate that you are a new SurveyCTO user who has not previously received a referral discount, we will issue your discount code, which will be immediately available for use during the checkout process. If you did not receive a discount code, it is likely that we were unable to verify your eligibility or you have not notified marketing@surveycto.com.
Why don't I see my discount code during checkout?
If you don’t see your discount code during checkout, it could be due to two reasons:
- Each discount code has an expiration date. Once the offer code has expired, you will no longer see it in the checkout process.
- You may have never received a discount code in the first place. Please see the “Why didn’t I receive my discount code?” question above for more detail.

How can I apply a discount code if I'm on auto-pay?
To apply a discount code when you are on auto-pay or auto-renew, you must manually make a purchase before your next billing cycle ends and before the auto-pay is triggered.
For example, if your auto-renewal is scheduled for June 1 and you want to apply a discount to that renewal, you must make a purchase manually before that date, such as on May 30. You can do this either by requesting a quotation if you need an invoice, or by purchasing more team-month or extra submission credits.
Additionally, if your transaction is completed before your renewal date, we will not charge you again on your renewal date.
