Additional AI credits are offered as prepaid credits or on-demand credits.

Prepaid credits can be purchased in packages and are consumed after credits from your subscription plan run out.
On-demand credits are accessed by setting a monthly spend cap and are consumed after credits from your subscription plan and prepaid credits run out.

How do I pick the right subscription

If you need help understanding which subscription plan makes the most sense for your organizational needs, we have many ways for you to get support:

You can start a free trial to get a feel for SurveyCTO. During the 15-day trial, you have access to our Support team, where you can ask any questions you may have, including whether a particular plan is the best option for you.
Our free community plan is also a great way to learn and experiment with SurveyCTO. While it does have lower storage, form, submission limits, and does not have access to our Support team, you do have access to all of our paid plan features so you can test freely.
You can get immediate answers from our AI assistant in the lower right-hand corner of our website.
Last but not least, you can request a demo with our Sales team to discuss your project needs and see which is the best fit for you.

How do AI credits and extra submission credits work?

Both AI credits and extra submission credits are a cost-effective way for users to get access to key SurveyCTO functionality without having to switch to another plan.

AI credits allow you to continue using AI-powered features, like AI translation and transcription, if you’ve used up the credit allowance that comes with your subscription plan before your monthly usage cycle resets.

Similarly, extra submission credits allow you to capture more submissions if you’ve already exceed your monthly plan allowance.

With both AI credits and extra submission credits, you would most likely have a need for these options if:

Your organization usually has consistent submission volume, but needs to accommodate a short-term or one-time spike in submissions, or
Your organization’s needs are satisfied within a certain subscription plan and you prefer not to switch plans in order to get more AI credits or more submission credits.

What is advanced offline case management?

All plans offer offline case management functionality. The difference is whether data collectors can update and share cases directly between devices without internet. Advanced offline case management is a powerful feature for complex projects with workflows that need to operate seamlessly no matter where you are.

Standard offline (Basic & Pro plans): Data collectors download assigned cases while online, collect data offline, and sync back to the server once they regain connectivity. Reassigning cases or updating shared lists requires an internet connection.
Advanced offline (Advanced & Enterprise plans): Designed for deep-field operations with zero connectivity. Teams can:
- Transfer cases device-to-device in the field (e.g., reassigning an interview or escalating a case to a supervisor).
- Create and publish new cases offline directly on a mobile device and immediately share them with peers.
- Consolidate completed cases onto a single supervisor’s device to sync once back in range.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Non-profit organizations can take advantage of our annual savings rate of 10% or use our community subscription (that will always remain free).

While the community plan has lower storage, form, submission limits, and does not have access to our Support team, it does provide access to all of our features, making it a great option for non-profits with singular or small data collection needs.
