This new research grant will support graduate students undertaking innovative, impactful data collection projects

We’re proud to announce a new research grant opportunity! This grant will be funded by Dobility, creators of SurveyCTO, to support graduate students in their research in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The application period for this grant has concluded. Learn more about the recipients:

Meet the 2021 grant recipients

We created SurveyCTO because of our experience in the field collecting data. More specifically, prior to joining Dobility, many team members went through the experience of navigating technical challenges of data collection on top of piecing together different research grants to fund their studies.

That’s why this grant is so exciting. We hope to support innovative, impactful research projects in a holistic way by providing both stipends and the technical tools for data collection.

Each awardee will receive:

  • A one-time grant of at least $2,000 for a research project during the 2021-2022 academic year (the award amount will vary depending on the intended use of SurveyCTO and sample size)
  • A one year subscription to SurveyCTO (valued at $2,376)
  • Access to our expert support team
  • Promotion of their research projects for greater visibility

Applications will be evaluated based on impact, innovation, and feasibility. As SurveyCTO is a data collection platform, we’ll prioritize applications for projects with a heavy focus on data collection.

With the SurveyCTO Data Collection Research Grant, graduate students can:

Defray some of the costs associated with data collection: The awardees will receive a grant of at least $2,000 that will be used for support costs associated with fieldwork, such as data collection, or interviewing participants.

Use the best tools for data collection: A one-year subscription to SurveyCTO—the most reliable, secure platform for data collection used by leading organizations and universities around the world—means the graduates won’t have to stress about collecting secure, high-quality data.

Get support for innovative data collection methods: We’ve gained a lot of knowledge on how to make data collection efficient and effective, so we’ll provide email support to the researchers to make sure they get the most out of our tool.
